Michelangelo's David

This splendid work of art is carved in white marble and was created during the Renaissance by the sculptor Michelangelo. It represents a biblical monarch before his confrontation with the beast and was embraced as a representative element of Florence against the oligarchy of its rulers.

The original sculpture is located in the Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence and is considered one of the masterpieces of the Renaissance.

The sculpture in Parque Europa represents all the details of the original creation on a smaller scale.
